Merry Christmas & Veel IJSPRET toegewenst

From Daejeon, Korea, I wish all the visitors of my blog a merry Christmas and happy winter holidays. 8600 kilometers from home I celebrated Christmas with some church friends. We went out to the movies, had dinner together and played some crazy games. Was quite different from a conventional Christmas in the Netherlands but we had a lot of fun!

While the statistics would predict that I would get a 'white' Christmas and a 'green' one in the Netherlands, it turned out to be the other way around. I honestly envy the Dutch guys who are having a lot of fun on skates outside. Here in Daejeon it is relatively warm and you only find snow on the ski-slopes outside Daejeon.

Anyhow it is not about snow during Christmas ;-)

Have fun everybody and skate as much as you can, the pictures are gorgeous! I will post some here in order to give non-Dutch people an impression of skating on channels. On the pictures you find my family and some cousins.

It is boxing day (2e kerstdag)
today and i am working in the lab, as all the Koreans are working today.... ;-)
