For over more than one month I am living in Germany now, but my German language skills haven't improved much :(.
When I was in Korea, I found it weird that people were shy to speak in English...I always thought, just try it...making mistakes does not matter... but now here in Germany I am shy to speak German as well.....
I realized that if I can avoid speaking in German I do it, and that is the worst option to improve my German skills. In the apartment where I live together with two German guys, we agreed upon an 'English day' at every even date and a 'German day' at every odd date. Somehow I am more talkative when it is English day.....
Today I started reading in German : Damals war es Friedrich... another step to get used to the German language.
One thing I know for sure, learning (and practicing) a third language is double as difficult as with the second language....especially when most of the people around you speak your second language as well....but I have some months left....

If German is your third that mean Korean your fourth and French the fifth? ^^
This time I'm pretty busy between France and Korea but from now I should stay in Korea ans work hard :p I'm still waiting for you in Korea so when will you come? ^^

arme jij,
je kan ok gewoon verbasted nederlands spreken lijkt er een beetje op.
ik weet ook nog een leuke taal maak daar je vierde van.. Hongaars.. is erg leuk ik ben er mee bezig alleen beroerd lastig.
