Hello everybody, here again a short message from Frankfurt. Writing a Master's Thesis is a very time consuming task, I can assure you... Those days I make long days with at least 8 hours work a day, on average about 10 hours. Even on saturdays I am working on my final University project. No complains though, it is just part of a process every Master's student goes through.
Talking about working hours, this week I found this article (below)....Koreans work the most hours in OECD countries and gues what....the Dutch have the shortest working hours....how does a Dutch guy in a Korean company behave....

Korean employees work the longest hours among the people in the 32 member countries of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) with an average of 2,357 hours per year, business magazine Forbes reported in its May 21 edition. Greece came second with 2,052 hours, followed by a trio of Eastern European countries: the Czech Republic, Hungary, and Poland. The Dutch worked the shortest hours with 1,391 hours per year, and the Americans came ninth with 1,797 hours.
Forbes cites cultural aspects and government policy as the key factors determining the length of working hours. "This is an authoritarian corporate culture," it quoted Michael Breen, author of a book "The Koreans", as saying. "It's very bad form to leave the office before the boss does, so people will hang around doing nothing, and then when the boss leaves, they feel free to leave. ... Because of all of that, people don't have much of a life."
